Bintan Safari Lagoi Eco Farm

Safari Lagoi is home to a diverse collection of rescued and endangered animals, including orangutans, sun bears, elephants, a 6-metre crocodile, and many more. The park also features an aviary filled with vibrant and beautiful birds.

The animals and birds residing at Safari Lagoi have mainly been rescued from the illegal pet trade and exotic meat markets, confiscated from former owners by the relevant Indonesian government authorities, or taken in as sick and injured animals requiring rehabilitation. Many of these animals are unfortunately unable to be released back into the wild for various reasons, which is why they are given lifelong care and protection at the centre.

Visitors can also experience local produce in its most natural form at the eco farm. Children can better connect with what they learn in school through sustainable farming practices, discover different types of fruits and vegetables, enjoy hands-on activities such as planting or harvesting seasonal crops, and even learn how to prepare a fresh local dish like rojak using ingredients harvested directly from the farm.
